Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer with mandatory hands-on PL/SQL experience and strong expertise in building integrations for Oracle Fusion (ERP/HCM/SCM). The ideal candidate will have solid experience in developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing OIC integrations, along with the ability to design and develop database-side logic using PL/SQL. Experience with Oracle VBCS is a plus for building lightweight extensions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including REST/SOAP connectors, orchestration flows, adapters, mappings, and robust error-handling frameworks.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and database objects to support integration logic, data transformations, validations, and reporting needs.
• Strong understanding of OIC integrations with Oracle Cloud SaaS applications such as Fusion ERP, HCM, and SCM Cloud.
• Work with FBDI/HDL, FTP/SFTP adapters, and structured file processing (CSV/XML/JSON).
• Perform performance tuning at both integration and database (PL/SQL/SQL) levels, along with testing, troubleshooting, and deployment/configuration support.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design efficient integration and database solutions.
• Prepare integration-related documentation, mapping specifications, PL/SQL design documents, and deployment checklists.
• Preferred: Develop UI extensions and custom applications using Oracle VBCS, leveraging REST APIs and basic UI/UX principles.
Required Skills (Must Have):
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) with at least two end-to-end integration implementations.
• Strong and mandatory experience in PL/SQL, including writing complex queries, procedures, packages, cursors, exception handling, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and SQL optimization.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP services, XML, JSON, XSD, and WSDL.
• Experience with integration patterns, exception handling, and Oracle Fusion Cloud integration best practices.
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and DevOps processes.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
• Experience with Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS) for UI development, including JavaScript and HTML/CSS-based extensions.
• Oracle Cloud certifications (OIC / VBCS).
