About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our sales expansion across Switzerland and Austria at a pivotal moment for TrendAI. As Country Sales Director, you will own the full sales team across both countries — driving growth across all account segments and building a high-performing sales organisation.

We're looking for a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of building and scaling sales teams in complex, regulated markets. You'll bring comprehensive commercial experience across enterprise, mid-market and SMB segments, and use that expertise to lead, develop and drive the performance of your team to achieve ambitious growth targets.

This is an ideal role for an experienced sales director ready to take ownership of a country P&L and build something meaningful in one of Europe's most attractive markets.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, coach and develop a sales team across Switzerland and Austria. Own hiring, onboarding and team development as you scale the organisation.
  • Drive team performance through clear goal-setting, regular pipeline reviews and hands-on coaching. Foster a high-energy, collaborative and winning team culture.
  • Build a sustainable sales organisation with strong processes, discipline and accountability.
  • Own the country P&L and revenue targets across all account segments — SMB, Commercial and Enterprise. Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through post-sale engagement.
  • Drive consistent revenue growth through a mix of new logo acquisition and account expansion. Be actively involved in key deals as a coach and escalation point — not just an individual contributor.
  • Hold the team accountable to a disciplined, repeatable sales process with clear metrics and forecasting.
  • Develop and execute a country go-to-market strategy aligned with regional and global priorities. Identify market opportunities and build the sales capability to capture them.
  • Stay close to the market — understand customer needs, competitive dynamics and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline across the team. Report on country KPIs and business performance to Sales Leadership regularly.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, customer success and product to maximise win rates and customer outcomes. Support regional and global sales initiatives alongside country-specific execution.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fluent in German and English. A proven track record as a sales leader managing a team in EMEA or similar markets.
  • Comprehensive sales experience across SMB, Commercial and Enterprise segments. Proven experience winning deals in Switzerland and/or Austria.
  • Background in software, SaaS, technology or cybersecurity. Experience with complex sales cycles and stakeholder management.
  • A natural leader who leads from experience and credibly coaches others. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage P&L, pipeline and forecast accurately.
  • Highly organised, resilient under pressure and thrives in a target-driven environment. Ability to inspire, develop and bring out the best in a diverse team.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to change.
  • A collaborative team player who wants to win together, not just individually. Honest, transparent and open — someone who gives and receives feedback well.
  • Curious about cybersecurity and genuinely excited about the TrendAI story. Energised by building something new in a transforming company.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary and bonus structure tied to results. A genuine ownership role with real autonomy and the opportunity to build a country sales organisation. A compelling platform story — TrendAI Vision One — that resonates with enterprise customers. The stability of a 35-year-old global business combined with the energy of a company that has just reinvented itself. A transparent, people-first culture where strong performance is recognised and rewarded.

At Trend Micro, we embrace change, empower people, and encourage innovation in a connected world. Our diversity and multicultural workforce are key contributing factors to our success across the globe. We like to have fun while taking our culture seriously. We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to this regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, nationality, age, citizenship, sexual orientation, marital status, gender identity or veteran status. We do not allow discrimination or harassment of any kind.

Skills Required

  • Fluency in German and English
  • Proven experience as a sales leader managing a team in EMEA or similar markets
  • Comprehensive sales experience across SMB, Commercial, and Enterprise segments
  • Proven experience winning deals in Switzerland and/or Austria
  • Background in software, SaaS, technology, or cybersecurity
  • Experience with complex sales cycles and stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage P&L, pipeline, and forecasts accurately
  • Ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate a diverse sales team
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience operating in target-driven environments
  • Ability to adapt quickly to ambiguity and change
