Join a team of specialists that provide program analysis, process improvement, and metrics for Honeywell. You will partner with Integrated project team to develop project plans and create cost and schedule baselines. You will prepare and publish metrics and reports. You will analyze variances and review compliance to corporate guidelines across multiple teams. Your findings will drive decisions to improve the project/program performance impacting one or more site locations.
Responsibilities• Support to Develop project plan, create cost and schedule baselines.
• Understand project contract, scope of work and terms & conditions
• Prepare and publish metrics and reports
• Analyze variances (planned cost vs actuals), project performance and review compliance.
• Analyze project baseline and execution to measure success
• Identify root causes, recommend corrective actions to improve Project performance
• Use Cost Control Techniques to track and manage financial budgets for the project
• Support monthly cost and customer billing forecast, including accuracy and compliance
• Maintain schedule, progress (%complete) and track milestones
• Monitor receivables & payables balance on allocated projects
• Actively participates in project review meetings & provides clear, accurate project assessments & gives proactive advice to drive successful project completion
• Track Change Orders and Internal Variances
• Track and analyze project threats and opportunities, develop project contingency budgets and maintains run down curves for cost risk assessment
QualificationsYou Must Have:
• Experience with Cost Control, Scheduling (Waterfall/Agile/Lean/Scrum) and Time Management
• Experience with Project Life Cycles
• Knowledge of Finance & Cash Flow (concepts, processes, planned, actual, forecast)
• Able to demonstrate Leadership, Negotiation, and Organizational skills
• Familiar with Business Acumen
• Able to be flexible and think outside the box
• Proactive, helpful, constructive, and ethical
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Finance or Accounting or
• 3+ years experience in Project Controls in Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Automation or Electronics Industry (preferred)
