STV is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support our Project Controls and Program/Construction Management (PMCM) teams within a large-scale Seismic Program in Los Angeles. This role is focused on cost analysis, budgeting, and financial tracking across a portfolio of critical infrastructure projects.

This individual will play a key role in consolidating, analyzing, and communicating financial data across the program, partnering closely with Project Managers and the Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cost tracking, budgeting, and financial analysis across multiple projects within the Seismic Program

  • Monitor and manage project budgets, forecasts, and actuals across 10 active projects

  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to support program oversight

  • Analyze large datasets to identify cost trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization

  • Partner with Project Managers and Program Leadership to provide actionable financial insights

  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting cycles, including forecast updates

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across multiple project and financial systems

  • Assist with establishing and improving financial controls, processes, and reporting standards

  • Contribute to program-level financial planning and resource allocation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost analysis, or project finance

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, synthesize, and present financial data clearly

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, forecasting models, data analysis)

  • Experience working in multi-project or program environments is highly preferred

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders

  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting Project Controls, PMO, or capital programs

  • Familiarity with project cost management tools or ERP systems

  • Understanding of budgeting within complex programs (infrastructure, construction, or engineering environments is a plus—but not required)

Compensation Range:

$91,976.90 - $105,116.46
