- Ensure inventories are valued at the Lower of Cost or Market.
- Conduct inventory absorption tests and update standard labor and overhead rates as needed.
- Calculate inventory reserves for obsolescence and intracompany profit in inventory.
- Maintain Oracle costing including updating material standards as needed.
- Oversee the annual BOM and routing review process.
- Manage cycle count processes and annual physical inventories.
- Assist with month-end closing and reconciliation of inventories.
- Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audits.
- Support Plant Management with ad-hoc projects.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting
- General knowledge of ERP systems
- Excellent computer skills (including MS Excel)
- Oracle experience would be a plus but is not required
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required
- CPA - Would be a plus but is not required
