We are currently seeking a qualified candidate with ERP experience to fill a Cost Accountant/Financial Analysist position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers with budget development
- Assure contract compliance of project
- Provide month end WIP closing adjustments for projects
- Communicate with Project Managers/Engineers progress of jobs of actual vs. estimated of cost, percentage of completion, hours spent vs. hours estimated.
- Qualify terms with vendors to create positive or match cash-flow to project
- Point of contact for customer and vendor hold-back and payment releases
- Point of contact for tracking adders and applying to overall outcome of jobs
- Assure efficient job close-out, create lessons learned best practices on large project close-out
- Work close with timekeepers, payroll, and other project controls employees
- Establish annual labor and overhead rates
- Review, investigate and explain production variances on a routine basis
- Provide support for annual physical inventories and cycle counts, and inventory analysis
- Drive improvements to reach goals and KPI’s
- Assist with monthly end close process
- May require assisting other multiple holding companies
- Possible fill in accountant “as-needed” per conglomerate of companies
- Project and track the impact of inflation.
- Analysis profit margins from a cost perspective and work with Lean Leader to implement VA projects.
Requirements:
- BA Degree in Accounting
- 5+ Years of Accounting Experience, with 2+ Years of manufacturing industry experience
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably MIE Trak or similar type job tracking software
- Strong attention to details, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, work as a team member and independently, self-driven, adaptable, and patient
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience in Visualization skills
