What We're Looking For
Stay plugged in
You're the first to know what's trending. If you're an insta-stalker, brilliant
– keep that up, because you'll definitely be applying those skills during your
internship with us. Research is a huge part of our work. We rely on news and
information constantly, so it's vital that you know how to sift through content
and have a general idea of what's happening in the world. The sooner we report
on cool things happening, the better. You know the drill!
Be passionate
We know you've heard this a million times – seriously, we've heard it too. But
at the risk of sounding like a broken record, it's important to love the work
that you do. Some days can be long, they can be tough, and they can be
exhausting – but loving what you do helps make it a little easier to wake up
the next morning and maybe even do it all over again. Take it from someone who does love
what she's doing: there's nothing coffee and a face mask can't fix.
Have a good attitude
This one's pretty self-explanatory! In a fast-paced environment, lots of things
can be happening at once, and sometimes you can feel lost or frustrated, but
having a good attitude is the best way to find your footing and feel
comfortable. Just do your best, put in the work, and trust the process. You
will always reap the benefits of your labour.
