Job Summary

The Corporate Senior Business Analyst partners with Product Delivery teams to understand business objectives, analyse customer and operational needs, and translate them into clear, actionable product requirements. The role serves as a key liaison between regional stakeholders and product teams, ensuring business needs are effectively represented throughout the product development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead business discovery workshops and business analysis activities for complex, cross-functional product initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational processes and customer needs.
  • Conduct business discovery activities through workshops, interviews, observations and data analysis to identify business problems and improvement opportunities.
  • Elicit, analyse, validate and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Analyse and document current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) business processes, business rules, user journeys and business capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process models and supporting product artefacts.
  • Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement by ensuring backlog items are well-defined, appropriately prioritised and ready for Agile delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure business requirements align with product strategy and customer value.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects, Engineering, UX and QA teams to clarify requirements and support successful solution delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Support solution validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release readiness and business adoption activities.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and modern technologies to improve business analysis, documentation, knowledge discovery and team productivity.
  • Identify business risks, assumptions, dependencies and change impacts, escalating where appropriate.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve business processes, customer experience, product capabilities and team practices.
  • Analyse and document business processes, review and validate test plans, support user acceptance testing, and track/manage requirements traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Track and manage requirements traceability throughout the systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Provide inputs to project estimates in terms of costs, tasks, schedule and resources required for the project.
  • Support request for proposal (RFP) activities.
  • Delivery on assigned project tasks within time, cost, and quality constraints.
  • Lead and manage stakeholder understanding of the implications of changes to existing applications, systems, and/or processes.
  • Facilitate implementation/roll-out of new system (e.g. assist with design, development, delivery of training for end users)
  • Adhere to IT Quality Control, SDLC, and Project Governance internal and regulatory guidelines, policies, and procedures

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 5–8 years of Business Analysis experience within enterprise software, product development, or digital transformation environments.
  • Experience in business discovery, process mapping, requirements elicitation, business process modelling, user story development, data mapping, functional analysis, and test planning.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and iterative product delivery.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, Figma, or equivalent collaboration tools.
  • Experience within enterprise software, regulated industries, or mission-critical operational environments would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Hotel or Casino industry would be advantageous.
  • Ability to mentor Business Analysts and drive continuous improvement across the Business Analysis function.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools would be advantageous.

Other Prerequisites

  • Familiarity with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global teams and multiple time zones.
  • Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Demonstrates curiosity, a customer-centric mindset, and a proactive approach to identifying business improvement opportunities.
