This role is responsible for aiding quality assurance as it relates to the safety department. Primary responsibilities include aiding in enhancing training and service excellence while reducing our risk, gaining workflow efficiency, and increasing associate retention (driver & office).

- Responsible for assisting training, quality assurance and overseeing Safety and Terminal Management personnel.
- Serve as a liaison with the IT department to aid seamless integration of safety-related technology and systems and help change management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes, enhance system efficiencies, and support continuous improvement across safety operations.
- Supports Safety dispositions related to accidents, policy, and regulation adherence, ensuring all required documentation and notifications are completed, while providing guidance to others in these processes.
- Assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Aid in enhancing training & service excellence while reducing our risk.
- Gain workflow efficiencies.
- Increase associate retention (driver & office).
- Performs additional duties as directed by supervisors.
- Available on call for urgent situations requiring management-level decisions.

- Knowledge of federal and state traffic laws and requirements for tractor/trailer equipment.

Education & Experience
- Transportation safety compliance and management experience preferred.
- Process improvement or change management experience preferred.
- Minimum of high school diploma.
- Related college degree preferred.
