AEG is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and business-minded Corporate Regulatory & Administrative Paralegal to support the company’s legal and operational compliance functions across AEG, its subsidiaries and affiliates, and supported optometry practices.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the center of a growing, fast-paced organization, partnering with legal, compliance, finance, operations, and executive leadership on a wide range of regulatory, licensing, and corporate matters. The position is based in Dallas and requires regular in-office presence.

The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates accountability, thrives in a detail-oriented environment, and can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional accuracy and professionalism. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented mindset are essential.

AEG will provide training and support for candidates eager to learn and grow within the role; prior experience in all subject matter areas is not required.

  • Manage and track state and local business filings, licenses, permits, registrations, renewals, and reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support regulatory and administrative activities related to corporate governance, business licensing, PEO operations, intellectual property, and compliance initiatives
  • Maintain accurate legal and regulatory records across various technology platforms, databases, and document management systems
  • Communicate directly with regulators, government agencies, executives, outside partners, and internal stakeholders regarding filings, compliance matters, and follow-up items
  • Partner cross-functionally with legal, compliance, finance, operational, and other business teams to support ongoing initiatives and projects
  • Monitor deadlines and help improve legal operations workflows, tracking systems, and process efficiencies
  • Support special projects and additional legal department priorities as needed
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in paralegal studies or comparable in-house legal department and/or law firm experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong foundational paralegal and administrative skills, including document management, issue spotting, organization, and deadline management
  • Experience working with multiple databases, technology platforms, or document management systems
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams Texas Notary Public certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Experience supporting corporate, licensing, regulatory, compliance, healthcare, PEO, or intellectual property matters is advantageous but not required
  • Hybrid Schedule - 3 days in office
