We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Corporate Quality Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain company-wide quality standards and processes across our manufacturing operations. This role partners with plant leadership, suppliers, and customers to drive continuous improvement, enhance process capability, reduce quality costs, and ensure compliance with ISO and customer requirements. 

What you will be doing:  

  • Develop and standardize quality documentation, policies, procedures, work instructions, and forms. 

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives using APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, DOE, 8D, and Minitab. 

  • Improve product quality and manufacturing process capability by reducing variation, waste, and defects. 

  • Monitor key quality metrics, analyze process performance, and drive corrective and preventive actions. 

  • Standardize quality systems, software platforms, inspection methods, and best practices across facilities. 

  • Participate and/or lead quality system audits across multiple locations. 

  • Lead customer and internal corrective action processes, including root cause analysis and 8D investigations. 

  • Conduct customer visits to address quality concerns, present corrective actions, and support issue resolution. 

  • Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality, reliability, and cost performance. 

  • Support quality training and development programs across manufacturing locations. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field. 

  • 3+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. 

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, and 8D). 

  • ISO 9001 (or similar) auditor certification or willingness to obtain the certification is preferred. 

  • Ability to travel to manufacturing plants, suppliers, and customer locations as needed. 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen 

  • Experience influencing executive leadership and cross-functional teams 

  • Effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills 

  • Results-driven, with a high sense of urgency and execution focus 

  • Strategic thinker able to translate challenges into actionable solutions 

  • High integrity, sound judgment, and leadership presence

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 3+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
