As a Corporate Finance Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams in delivering strategic financial advice and services to clients. Within our Advisory practice, you will gain exposure to a range of corporate finance activities, including optimizing capital structures, managing mergers and acquisitions, and driving value creation. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, supporting teams with basic tasks, and participating in projects. You will have the opportunity to observe professional work environments and contribute reliably to the team's success.
In this role at PwC, you will be part of a team that provides comprehensive support for mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions. You will assist in strategic advice, due diligence, and valuation services to help clients make informed decisions and maximize value. This is an entry-level position that emphasizes learning and development, allowing you to build your personal brand and prepare for future opportunities in the corporate finance sector.
Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions by conducting research and analysis
- Participating in the development of acquisition strategies and financial modeling to optimize capital structure and drive value creation
- Assisting in the preparation of business valuations and discounted cash flow analyses to estimate economic value
- Engaging in client management and onboarding processes to build strong relationships and address client needs
- Contributing to the negotiation of contractual agreements and deal structures to facilitate successful transactions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather information and analyze financial trends for informed decision-making
- Utilizing data rooms to securely store and share confidential information during due diligence processes
- Applying active listening and accepting feedback to enhance personal development and team collaboration
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
