The Opportunity

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Corporate Events Manager to join our B2B Events Team. This role will help define strategies and processes for high-impact programs and event playbooks. This role will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to create impactful programs that help us reach our goals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of corporate events in B2B enviornments, have a track record of successful project management, and exceptional collaboration skills. 

As Corporate Events Manager, you will . . .  

  • Develop and implement strategies to produce unforgettable experiences for special projects, including our biannual Sales Kick-Off meetings
  • Confidently lead programs involving several teams and stakeholders
  • Oversee management of event playbooks for sales self-serve event engagements, including guidelines, best practices, inventory, distribution fund, and tracking results.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of event programs. Analyze data to optimize program strategy and demonstrate ROI to senior management.
  • Ensure seamless execution from event ideation to post-event retro and measurement. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales and marketing operations to ensure alignment and integration of initiatives.
  • Manage program budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve maximum ROI
  • Build relationships with event vendors, agencies, and strategic partners to enhance event execution and maximize opportunities
  • Help build repeatable processes, templates, and best practices for events to optimize and scale programs
  • Willing to travel onsite to event programs as needed

Qualifications

  • Has 5+ years of experience with 3-5 years experience in events
  • Experience leading event programs at B2B SaaS companies
  • Experience in scaling event efforts in high-growth environments, demonstrating adaptability and agility
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams like sales, sales enablement, product marketing, and marketing operations.
  • A good understanding of how to measure the effectiveness of corporate events.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.

Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.

United States: 

Zone 1: $123,000  –  $169,000/year (USD)

Zone 2: $111,000  –  $152,000 /year (USD)

 

Canada: 

Zone 1: $92,000  –  $127,000/year (CAD)
