CarterWill Search is seeking a Corporate Associate to join a technology-focused AmLaw corporate practice in Austin, Texas. This role provides the opportunity to work on venture financings, private equity transactions, and mergers & acquisitions for private companies across the technology and life sciences sectors.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of corporate experience, with a strong background in financing transactions and M&A. Responsibilities include advising clients throughout deal execution, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, and collaborating closely with internal teams and clients.
This position offers exposure to complex, high-profile transactions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with significant client interaction and strategic deal involvement.
Qualifications4–6 years of experience in corporate law, focusing on venture financings, private equity, and M&A
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
Strong academic credentials and analytical skills
Excellent drafting, communication, and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently while maintaining client focus and attention to detail
This position offers a competitive salary range of $310,000–$390,000, commensurate with experience, along with comprehensive benefits including wellness reimbursements, healthcare, family-building support, and flexible spending options, all within a supportive and collaborative work environment.
