The Role

The Corporate Administrator will assist in the delivery of corporate services and liaison services for offshore companies. This includes new sales, document orders, onboarding of additional services, transfer in/out, terminations, filing of changes to the Registry and other offshore jurisdiction related enquiries.

Duties

  • Perform all corporate services functions in relation to the designated portfolio of companies, as outlined in the Procedural Guidelines.
  • Liaise with clients, law firms, government offices, courier service providers, Registry of Corporate Affairs, intermediaries, marketing professionals and other interested parties to ensure client instructions are performed efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide an excellent customer service by adhering to Trident’s established core values: responsiveness, attention to detail, personalized service and reliability.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to service inquiries, concerns and complaints from clients and Trident Group offices.
  • Be able to offer suggestions to improve procedures and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Resolve day-to-day service and staff issues which arise with direction from leadership, as required.
  • Comply with and observe all anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing policies and procedures stated in Trident’s compliance manual and report suspicious transactions to your supervisor
  • Review frequently and maintain working knowledge of the provisions of AML regulations and code, the Business Companies Act, the economic substance code, the organization’s IT policy, GDPR policies, relevant to the discharge of the essential functions stated in this job description
  • Conduct file review and customer due diligence (or enhanced due diligence) checks upon assignment of each job, request and obtain any outstanding customer due diligence data and relevant corporate documents, if possible, prior to completion of any assigned job
  • Arrange for the review, follow up and completion of all assign jobs including but not limited to new sales, document orders, appointments and resignations, transfer in/out, terminations, filing of changes to the Registry and amendment of Companies memorandum and articles of association.
  • Prepare resolutions, consent actions, registers, certificates of Incumbency, Registered Agent certificates and other corporate documents accurately
  • Respond in a timely and professional manner to clients’ requests and queries via email and telephone, and ensure that all emails are answered within 24 hours
  • Create accurate invoices for services rendered to the clients

Skills and Knowledge

  • Degree in a business-related field or extensive experience in the Corporate or Fiduciary Services Industry
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work under pressure, work independently and to be organized
  • Ability to maintain a professional, positive and enthusiastic attitude when dealing with clients and colleagues
  • Readiness to respond positively to instructions and procedures
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Considerable knowledge of the workings of the Registry of Corporate Affairs.
  • Considerable knowledge of the BVI Business Companies Act and ancillary legislation.
  • Ability to work in a team and adhere to the organization’s rules
  • Fluency in English Language (Both verbal and written)

Remuneration
