Corporate Access & Research Services Associate (Contract)

Artisan Partners is seeking a motivated Associate to join our Corporate Access & Research Services (CARS) team. This is a contract position. This cross-functional role supports corporate access coordination, research services management, and centralized broker relations efforts across the firm. This role offers exposure to the broader world of Asset Management and the ecosystem that exists across Asset Holders, Asset Managers, Brokers, Research Providers, Investment Banks & Corporate Issuers. In addition to working directly with the CARS Team, the associate will have the opportunity to engage with colleagues across departments at Artisan Partners including the Investment Teams, Legal/Compliance, Marketing & Distribution, and others.

The candidate is expected to:

• Contribute to data analysis initiatives and workflow optimization efforts to enhance reporting and operational efficiency
• Prepare broker review prep packs – synthesizing data from multiple sources
• Assist with preparation of internal and external presentations including data analysis, content and formatting
• Coordinate meetings with corporate management teams, industry experts, and government entities, including site visits, roadshows, conferences, and research trips
• Serve as a primary point of contact for corporate executives (CEO, CFO, C-suite, Investor Relations) to secure meetings for investment teams while representing Artisan in an appropriate and compelling manner and ensuring a positive experience that strengthens the firm’s reputation
• Support development and distribution of our quarterly marketing materials
• Act as a liaison between investment professionals and research services providers. Assist in managing and tracking research services relationships in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and Finance
• Partner closely with functional partners within the organization, including Compliance, Marketing & Branding, Investment Operations and Technology to ensure the corporate access program is fully integrated into the broader Artisan Partners business

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s degree required; finance, business, economics, or related field preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
• Proactive, detail-oriented problem-solver with a commitment to excellence
• Must have strong judgment and integrity
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau, Snowflake and GenAI experience a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights. Ability to learn quickly and comfort engaging with new software systems and tools
• Professional, personable demeanor suited for a highly interactive role

Hourly Rate: $40-$45/hour

Specific placement within the provided range will be determined by an individual’s geographic location as well as relevant experience and skills for the role
