Management position in charge of the strategic, financial, operational & qualitative management of the DataCenters, Core sites & HeadEnds from VOO & OBE.
Beside the convergence of 3 different operating models, this position will play a key role in the FTTP deployment by adapting the needed Core sites, selecting & designing the Central offices.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for managing internal teams of the Business Unit: recruiting, coaching, and monitoring the performance and skills of employees.
- Responsible for managing external teams (subcontractors) of the Business Unit: ensuring the setup (operating model), selection, operational, qualitative, contractual, and financial management of subcontractors and solution providers for the Business Unit's activities.
- Responsible for defining the long-term strategy (+10 years), the supporting operating model and roadmap, projects and priorities within the Business Unit to achieve the department’s objectives while adhering to the annual budget and strategic plan
- Develops and oversees the budget required for managing and improving the activities of the Business Unit.
- Validates the optimization and formalization of internal and external processes, operating modes, as well as the selection and deployment of underlying tools and methods.
- Responsible for implementing improvement plans (efficiency, quality, cost of services, equipment, communication, etc.) and monitoring them.
- Provides all necessary inputs for the preparation of a monthly activity report related to the Business Unit: progress of various ongoing projects, budget expenditure tracking, KPI measurement, quality control results, etc.
Your profile
- Degree in a technical Field (or similar by experience)
- 10 years of experience in the Telecom Sector, including at least 5 years in managing large teams

- Fluent French and English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
