Our financial-services work includes secure platforms and technology delivery supporting banking, payments, digital channels, integration, data, and financial operations. ## Job Title Core IRIS / T24 Developer ## Location Cairo, Egypt (hybrid/work-from-office supported; international collaboration as needed) ## Years of Experience 5+ years ## Job Description As a Core IRIS / T24 Developer at ITGoals, you will design, develop, enhance, integrate, and support Temenos T24 / Transact solutions across core-banking modules, IRIS and OFS interfaces, release upgrades, and controlled production change. You will collaborate with business analysts, other IT teams, and delivery leads to translate banking requirements into robust technical solutions, while maintaining production stability and security. ## Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain customizations and interfaces in Temenos T24 (Transact). * Work across core-banking modules such as AA, FT, AC, LD, MM, LC, LG, and customer-management capabilities. * Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot T24 routines including Enquiries, Versions, OFS, TM, and browser customizations. * Develop and support web services using IRIS, OFS integration, SOAP APIs, and interfaces with third-party systems. * Lead or participate in T24 upgrade, patching, enhancement, and release activities, assessing technical impact and supporting controlled rollout. * Collaborate with business analysts and other IT teams to translate functional banking requirements into robust technical solutions. * Apply code-review, performance-tuning, and development-quality practices to improve stability and maintainability. * Provide support across SIT, UAT, and production environments, including issue analysis, defect resolution, and deployment verification. * Troubleshoot complex T24 application, integration, data, and environment issues and coordinate resolution across dependent teams. * Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices in a T24 context where applicable, including repeatable deployment and environment discipline. * Maintain technical documentation covering routines, interfaces, dependencies, release changes, and support considerations. ## Required Experience * Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Temenos T24 development experience. * Strong practical experience with jBASE, InfoBasic, and the T24 Toolkit. * Deep understanding of T24 architecture and core modules including AA, AC, FT, LD, MM, and related banking capabilities. * Experience with TAFJ environments and T24 release upgrades. * Experience developing IRIS web services, OFS integrations, SOAP APIs, and third-party interfaces. * Practical experience supporting SIT, UAT, production rollout, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. ## Required Skills * Temenos T24 / Transact * jBASE and InfoBasic * T24 Toolkit * AA, AC, FT, LD, MM and related core modules * TAFJ * IRIS web services * OFS integration and SOAP APIs * T24 browser / UI customization * T24 debugging and performance tuning * DevOps / CI/CD concepts in a T24 environment ## Banking / Fintech & Nice to Have * Strong banking-domain knowledge is highly valuable for this role and practical understanding of banking business processes and compliance expectations is expected. * Experience with LC, LG, customer management, and broader core-banking integration scenarios. * Experience leading technical workstreams for upgrades, patches, or complex enhancements. * Exposure to modern API management and digital-channel integration around core banking. ## What Success Looks Like * Combines deep T24 engineering knowledge with practical understanding of banking operations. * Diagnoses complex core-banking problems without losing sight of production risk and business impact. * Works carefully through change, testing, rollout, and support in mission-critical environments. ## ITGOALS Offers * Enterprise-scale assignments where engineering quality, security, resilience, and delivery discipline matter. * Structured ITGoals recruitment, onboarding, delivery governance, and clear professional ownership throughout the engagement. * Collaboration with experienced engineers, architects, QA professionals, delivery leaders, and business stakeholders. * Exposure to complex digital-transformation environments and the opportunity to deepen banking, fintech, payments, and regulated-enterprise experience. * Opportunities to contribute to long-term enterprise delivery programs based on performance, business demand, and role fit. ## Application Instructions Share an updated CV with the ITGoals recruitment team, highlighting the experience most relevant to this role, particularly enterprise delivery, banking / fintech exposure where applicable, and the technologies listed above.
