Tower Research Capital India, a subsidiary of the New York high-frequency proprietary trading firm
Tower Research Capital LLC, continues to enhance the in-house trading system that has positioned the
firm as a leader in the field of quantitative trading.
As an intern, you will be working alongside other exceptional engineers to solve some of the most
challenging engineering problems in the industry. Your responsibilities may include any of the following,
which will require you to exercise discretion and independent judgment:
Responsibilities:

● Enhancing Tower’s low-latency trading platform, which collects data from and disseminates
orders to exchanges around the world, using advanced techniques in network and systems
programming.
● Improving Tower’s automated risk controls and real-time monitoring & reconciliation systems and
enhancing it to support new types of trading and risk requirements.
● Developing tools for monitoring, alert management, configuration management, and log analysis
to ensure Tower’s large scale trading infrastructure can run reliably and efficiently.
● Building tools to validate the quality and performance of systems and executing automation efforts
to reduce the operational burden.
● Building upon the next generation of Tower's cloud infrastructure based on cutting edge
distributed systems, containerization, and open source technologies.
● Building scalable platforms for post trade workflows & strengthening and maintaining Tower’s
security referential infrastructure to address trading and back-office needs.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate is working toward a degree in computer science. Additional requirements include:
● Brilliant problem-solving abilities
● Strong networks and systems knowledge
● Solid background in data structures and algorithms
● Programming expertise in one or more of the following languages - C++, Java, Python
● Good breadth of knowledge in widely used industry technologies, including Python, Bash and
databases
● Clear understanding of computer architecture fundamentals
● Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
● Understanding of Relational databases is a plus
● Strong English communication skills
