Position Summary
The Core Banking Systems Analyst ensures Panacea’s core banking platform operates reliably, securely, and in alignment with business needs. This role blends technical analysis and banking expertise, digging into system configurations, identifying issues, and implementing fixes that enhance customer and operational outcomes.
You’ll act as the bridge between banking operations, technology, and vendors, ensuring that Panacea’s Finxact platform supports growth, compliance, and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage core banking performance, monitoring system health, data accuracy, and user experience across connected systems.
- Build new core banking products such as deposits and loans.
- Analyze and define system scope, workflows, and requirements by engaging business users and understanding operational goals.
- Partner with teams to re-engineer processes for greater efficiency and scalability using Finxact capabilities.
- Investigate configuration and integration issues, determine root causes, and collaborate with internal teams or vendors to resolve them.
- Lead and support testing cycles (UAT, regression, integration) to validate new features, releases, and vendor updates.
- Document system configurations, process flows, and operational procedures to maintain accuracy and support continuity.
- Stay informed on Finxact releases, banking technology trends, and regulatory updates, advising on potential impacts.
- Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in banking, fintech, or core processing environments.
- Experience with core banking systems (Finxact experience strongly preferred).
- Understanding of banking operations, including deposits, payments, lending, and account servicing.
- Familiarity with API testing, data mapping, and system integrations (experience with Postman a plus).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or iterative project environments.

- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills; able to dig deep into configurations and uncover root causes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Solid understanding of automation, data integrity, and security best practices.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on relationship building across operations and technology teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
