The Role

Neilson Financial Services (Neilson) has grown rapidly since its inception and is a market leader in several categories and channels. Our success is driven by innovative product launches, data-driven acquisition strategies, and a highly effective in-house call centre operation.

Our dedicated internal Marketing function, Thinkbait, operates like an agency and is headquartered in Dublin, with team members based across the UK and beyond. The Content team is an integral part of this operation, and this new Copywriter role will support the growth of existing brands while contributing to the launch of new ones.

Job Description

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, creating impactful content across all channels and markets, including the UK, Canada, and Australia. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who is eager to make their mark and help shape the voice of multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create content to support Neilson Financial Services’ marketing channels, with a focus on both new brand launches and existing brand growth
  • Produce copy for a range of offline and digital channels, including websites, print materials, customer documents, digital ads, PPC campaigns, emails, and social media
  • Write for a global audience, tailoring content for the UK, Canada, and Australian markets
  • Develop longer-form copy for SEO-focused content and brand-led PR initiatives
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with multiple brand tone-of-voice guidelines
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to produce optimized, high-performing content
  • Write and refine customer-facing documents, such as welcome packs, policy updates, and CRM campaigns
  • Stay informed about competitor and industry trends to identify content opportunities
  • Review, edit, and refine all published content with an exceptional attention to detail
  • Define and maintain copy guides to ensure consistency across channels and teams

 

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, mainly Word and Excel
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Proven experience in creating copy for consumer-facing brands, ideally in the financial services or related industries
  • Strong track record of producing content for both offline and digital channels
  • Experience managing multiple brand tones of voice and adapting to different guidelines
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword optimization
  • Knowledge of creating detailed content plans and calendars
  • Experience working on projects from concept to delivery
  • Advantageous: Experience with website administration using an Ecommerce Platform/CMS
  • Beneficial but not required: Understanding of AI tools and services such as ChatGPT
