Hiebing is looking for a Senior Copywriter who is highly conceptual and able to execute great ideas with experience working across all mediums, from traditional to social to digital. You are equal parts curious and dogged – not only a great creative talent but also a selfless team player. You’ll be working with people whose passion is to create and develop compelling ideas that forge momentum for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing new ideas, creative concepts and brand voice across print, digital, social, audio and video disciplines
- Collaborating with art directors, creative directors, producers and broader team members to flesh out the creative development of ideas and tactics in ways that are on strategy, relevant to the target audience and executed with expert craftsmanship
- Presenting your work to internal and external audiences with passion, persuasion and clarity
- Adapting to evolving digital and social platforms and new technologies
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, utilizing resources, meeting deadlines and staying within budget
- Mentoring writers throughout the agency
- Making the work process fun and contributing to our culture
Qualifications:
- An outstanding portfolio that showcases your range of unexpected ideas and kickass copywriting (more than anything, we want to see your big ideas!)
- 5-7+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in an ad agency setting where you’ve honed your craft and worked on diverse projects ranging across traditional and digital mediums
- Video and radio production experience
- Strong interpersonal skills; a team player, positive and innovative thinker
- Highly motivated with strong initiative and the ability to work independent in support of the agency’s creative goals and our clients’ business objectives
- A 4-year degree in Advertising, Communications, English or a related field
- Ability to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
