THE ROLE


The Content Creator, Paid Social, will be responsible for creating compelling copy and producing engaging content for various paid platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Paid Search, CTV, direct mail, and more. This role involves brainstorming, developing, and executing strategic concepts to attract new members and drive business growth. You will collaborate closely with other content creators and key stakeholders across the acquisition and partnership marketing teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate strategic, click-worthy messaging for various channels and touchpoints
  • Create direct response (DR) and native ads based on acquisition briefs and creative brainstorms
  • Own the copy, content and editing process for paid social and acquisition assets
  • Communicate the Thrive Market mission and value proposition authentically to improve CPA, CTR, and hook rates
  • Assist with short-form copy creation for other verticals as needed
  • Take ownership of messaging strategy and execution for channels/projects
  • Ideate and execute holistic assets, including creative execution, visuals, and messaging
  • Enhance the efficiency of Acquisition and Creative teams by identifying trends and executing new growth marketing ideas
  • Distill key messages to their essence, regardless of the platform
  • Demonstrate experience across various social touch points
  • Ask critical questions and continually seek knowledge
  • Develop standards, systems, and best practices for direct response marketing based on insights

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing as a performance-driven content creator
  • Proficient in writing, concept, filming, and editing strategic videos for multi-channel ads
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse digital marketing executions, with a focus on growth marketing
  • Mastery of standard English spelling, grammar, and style
  • Excellent communication skills, balancing initiative and collaborative input
  • Passion for working in a mission-driven company
  • Highly collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail and professionalism
  • Innovative thinker unafraid to ask tough questions
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • Experience creating compelling CTV ads is a plus
  • Strategic, growth-oriented creative self-starter with a proven track record in paid ad creation, from brief intake to final edits
  • Deep understanding of social media and consumer preferences across different channels
  • Results-driven and solutions-oriented with a knack for creating pithy, engaging copy
  • Comfortable on camera with a portfolio of high-performing user-generated content (UGC)
  • Constantly generating new ideas and innovations
  • Highly collaborative and vocal team player
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high standard of excellence

Contract Details

  • This is a contract position
  • Work Location: Los Angeles/ Remote
  • Work Hours: Flexible PST hours
  • Compensation details: $35-42/hr
