Role Summary:
This role is responsible for assisting the NYC Events Manager with the planning and executing of experiential initiatives and events to drive company growth and brand recognition. Initiatives include corporate events, marquee sponsorships at industry conferences and trade shows, and regional customer engagement through networking and educational activities to support the salesforce on both a national and global scale. The Coordinator, Global Experiences role will sit in Kargo's New York City headquarters and report to the Manager of Global Experiences within the Marketing department.
What You'll Do:

• Liaise with team leads to brainstorm, develop and execute experiential opportunities and unique activations that deliver on objectives/goals and increase transactional likelihood with Kargo.
• Help with creating and monitoring project timelines and budgets.
• Assist with the management of third party vendors.
• Assist with the project management of customer engagement programs from conception to completion including sourcing all events' details such as venue, decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc.
• Work with team leads to create invite lists, send out invitations and manage RSVP lists.
• Work with Creative Services on the branding aspects of an event including, invites, email newsletters and promotional materials.
• Manage swag inventory across regional offices.
• Assist other members of the Marketing team in performing ad hoc department functions as necessary

Who You Are:

• 1-2 years of event planning experience
• Organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player who can build strong relationships with internal and external partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates flexibility/resourcefulness - find imaginative and practical solutions and make well-considered decisions.
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Evening hours and weekend work required as necessary.
