Position Title: Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist

Overview:

As a Senior Optimization Specialist, you will partner with clients and our conversion optimization team to design and execute A/B Testing programs. To succeed in this role, you should be naturally analytical and inquisitive, with a desire to identify and solve problems.

You should be able to explain complex concepts to non-technical users, and use data to back up your recommendations. An ideal candidate has the ability to oversee the entire testing process end-to-end, including development, to ensure flawless execution of strategy and design on tight timelines.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Identify key opportunities for optimization on their websites, supported by analytics, industry best practices, and benchmarks.
• Prioritize and manage clients’ ongoing A/B testing and optimization roadmaps, utilizing agile methodologies for appropriate scoping of effort, cost, risk, and return on investment.
• Execute the end-to-end deployment of A/B tests, user studies, product recommendations, and personalized experiences, from ideation and design, to development, deployment, and analysis.
• Write visual and functional requirements for technical teams and oversee the test through Development & QA cycles.
• Ability to develop custom test experiences, troubleshoot technical issues, and fix bugs on tight timelines.
• Analyze test results and tell a story with data, providing clear next steps & recommendations for future test iterations or additional hypotheses.

Qualifications:

• Required:5-7 years hands-on experience in A/B testing tools.
  • Monetate or AB Tasty experience strongly preferred.
  • Will consider applicants with similar levels of experience in other A/B testing platforms (VWO, Optimizely, Convert, Adobe Target, Oracle Maxymiser, Omniconvert etc.).
• Required: 5 years experience building & analyzing segments in Google Analytics, or other analytics platforms.
• Required: 3-5 years applied skills in front-end development: HTML, CSS, and Javascript / jQuery.
• Demonstrated ability as a self-starter, who can work independently or with a team.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to detail and process.
• Senior level: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant work experience; or, equivalent years of applied experience.
• Areas of Study/Experience: Website Analytics, Website Optimization, Conversion Rate Optimization, User Experience Design, User Research, Front-End Development (Javascript, HTML, CSS, etc.).
• Software Skills: Google Suite, JIRA, Confluence, Basecamp, Slack.
