The Controls Management Specialist leads in developing, analyzing, and improving existing business processes using process improvement methodology (e.g., Lean, Agile, etc.). Applies functional expertise to improve business and client results. This role is responsible for analyzing, synthesizing, and communicating data and insights to drive meaningful process improvements across the organization. You will partner closely with data, technology, and business stakeholders to strengthen the overall crew and client experience. The position requires strong critical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to influence outcomes in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.
Role responsibilities:
Support process improvement initiatives from inception through implementation, including defining scope, gathering requirements, managing timelines, and ensuring delivery of results.
Compile and analyze process improvement data and key performance metrics to measure outcomes and sustain improvements.
Owns and executes key controls to mitigate risk related to Cost Basis. Works to continuously detect emerging risks and enhance key controls.
Serve as liaison with key stakeholders across the Cost Basis value stream, ensuring that operational impacts upon our business are understood.
Support development of training materials and change management activities associated with new or enhanced processes and procedures.
Manages shared Cost Basis content to ensure that accurate information is readily available to front line crew.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years related work experience with progressive responsibility required.
Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience required.
