Constrafor is looking for an experienced Controller that will lead all aspects of the accounting operations and build the foundation for a robust accounting function. We’re looking for a collaborative leader with a proven track record of managing scalable accounting organization in a fast growing company.
📝 What You'll Do:
- Responsible for managing accounting records
- Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
- Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Support CEO to develop budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses as needed.
- Build and manage processes to ensure compliance with auditing requirements and standards.
- Own the monthly financial statements closing process and implement the required processes and improvements to achieve agile and efficient close process and accurate reporting.
📈 What You Bring:
- 6+ years of experience in accounting / controller positions.
- Experience in credit/lending services.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
- History of meeting & exceeding goals. A go-getter with a positive attitude.
- Growth mindset. You are interested in continuously improving your ability to give and receive feedback.
- Strong communication skills.
- Thrive in a fast paced environment and passionate about building systems and processes from scratch; high bias for action, takes initiative and can work independently.
- Competitive Salary: $150,000-170,000 base DOE.
