Responsible for supervising the performance of a variety of financial and reporting functions. Oversight includes leading a team of accountants in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, budgeting, audit oversight, forecasting and treasury.
Provide leadership and coordination to oversee transition of corporate accounting functions from outside service provider to in-house for corporate business planning, financial accounting and budgeting, implement best practices and metrics in support of overall business to aid in company growth plans.
Assess existing staff and work with Trigild COO to determine appropriate internal resources and to drive accounting and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Corporate/Property Accounting
- Responsible for reviewing the accuracy of the general ledgers for assigned accountants. This includes the review of monthly journal entries, income and expense accruals, expense recovery true-ups review, GAAP adjustments and bank reconciliations.
- Establish and maintain control of accounting policies and procedures and control environment to ensure compliance with SOC and internal reporting standards and drive an environment of continuous process improvement.
- Work with all levels of Trigild management to ensure accuracy of receivership billings and improve processes across all finance, accounting and treasury processes.
Audit
- Oversee the preparation of detailed interim and year-end working papers and support schedules requested by internal and external auditors.
- Work with the external auditors and prepare the draft annual financial statements and notes.
- Assist with audits in terms of research, analysis, documentation and response.
Forecasts, Budgets and Financial Analyses
- Responsible for the annual Trigild budget with corresponding quarterly forecast reviews.
- Initially review and prepare revenue and expense analysis in Yardi accounting system including the preparation of GAAP adjustments.
- Responsible for transfer of accounting financials from Yardi to JDE accounting system.
- Assist in preparation of the budget/forecast packages including detailed analysis of the revenue, expense and capital components.
- Collaborate with legal, tax and finance teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with partnership agreements, financing structures and other legal documents.
- Communicate financial results and other key calculations to Trigild principals.
- Involvement in and understand complexities and assist in collection of accounts receivable
Corporate Reporting and Analysis
- Strategically support the development and growth of business by partnering with Trigild leadership and establishing appropriate accounting structure, reporting, processes to meet needs of the business.
- Be well versed in GAAP reporting and responsible for Trgild financial statements.
- Ensure cash flow management, EBITDA, forecasting, and budgeting are structured to provide transparency and maximize profitability,
- Analyze cash flow, cost controls and expenses to guide Market Leader/CFO. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint any potential strengths or weaknesses.
- Be instrumental with all aspects of migration from Yardi to Oracle accounting platform in 2025.
- Drive accounting process changes and maximize efficiencies.

Experience:
- 10+ years of public accounting and/or commercial real estate accounting experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP (specifically, real estate), SOC controls, and IFRS.
Education:
- Bachelor`s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or Master’s Degree in Accounting and CPA a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in MRI, Yardi, JD Edwards, Oracle systems desired
- Proficiency in PC-based software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Powerpoint.
