Position Summary:
The Financial Controller will report to the Head of Finance and play a critical role in managing financial reporting, monthly close processes, and budgeting. This position is ideal for a proactive and hands-on accounting professional with SaaS industry experience who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. The Controller will be responsible for developing internal controls, enhancing financial processes, and supporting investor relations through timely and accurate reporting.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the Financial Closings- Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes for both Israel and US entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
- Prepare Financial Statements- Prepare and consolidate the financial statements and management reports, providing clear insights for internal stakeholders and investors.
- Tax & Compliance- Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, handling statutory filings and tax returns for both IL and US operations.
- Audit Coordination- Work directly with auditors to coordinate audits and ensure all financial and operational controls are in place to meet compliance requirements.
- Process Improvement- Continuously identify and implement improvements to financial processes, enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across the finance department.
- Vendor Payment Cycles- Support and review vendor payment cycles to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ad-Hoc Financial Tasks- Undertake other financial tasks as needed to support the business.
What You Bring:
- CPA with prior experience in one of the big 4 accounting firms, high-tech industry
- Out of office experience- at least 2 years as a Controller or Assistant Controller in a - big advantage
- Strong knowledge and experience in US-GAAP.
- Proficiency in NetSuite ERP.
- Excellent Excel and Office skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Fast learner, self-motivated, and highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and work in a global, dynamic company.
- Full professional fluency in both English and Hebrew (written and verbal).
