JOB SUMMARY:
- The Controller is responsible for guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies. This is full-time exempt role.
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
- Experience: Two to four years of experience managing/ supervising a finance team.
- Experience with government contracts a plus.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP.
- Knowledge of/ experience with global ERP and consolidation software systems (Unanet, Deltek, Management Reporting.
CORE DUTIES:
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Establish a process to accurately forecast and budge the P&L, balance sheet and Statement of Cash Flows.
- Coordinate and direct year-end audits.
- Manage all accounting operations for the business.
- Project assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
- Responsible for analytics at month-end and quarter-end (P&L and balance sheet flux analysis, operating segment flux analysis.
- Working closely with local finance/accounting teams to educate, implement and ensure compliance with global process and policies.
- Ad-hoc technical accounting research of US GAAP-related issues
- Ownership of the close calendar.
