What we are Looking for
It’s an exciting time to join L&M Corrugated! We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented, results-focused individual ready to take the next step in their career. This individual will lead a team of 3 Accountants and will be tasked with managing the day-to-day of the department while leading efficiency changes and providing financial recommendations and support to the CFO.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials for all lending requirements, and oversee all financial requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors; assess any changes necessary.
  • Understand and manage changes in cost accounting
  • Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the Strategic Plan; administer and review all financial plans and budgets.
  • Fixed asset management and capital budget preparation.
  • Assist in the ISO/Quality process.
  • Research and implementation of cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of inventory control and the physical inventory reconciliation process.
  • Keep a successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization, and problem-solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making.
  • Commit to training programs that maximize individual and organizational goals across the organization.
  • Collaborate with State and Federal Agencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education, Experience, and Attributes

  • 6-10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, 2-3 years of financial management experience, corrugate or packaging industry preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confidentiality is essential.
  • Proficient in accounting and reporting, as well as in-depth knowledge of GAAP.
