Glenwood is seeking an experienced Controller to join our leadership team and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our non-profit organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of all accounting and financial reporting functions.
As Controller, you will be responsible for managing the organization's financial systems and accounting operations, while supporting leadership with sound financial guidance and reporting.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and coordination of annual operating and capital budgets.
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial statements by the 20th day of each month.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, cash receipts, and other accounting functions.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements and maintenance of financial records.
- Manage and maintain records of depreciable assets.
- Monitor the accuracy of cash receipts, disbursements, inventory, and client billing processes.
- Collaborate with the CFO and leadership team to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Present budget recommendations and financial information to executive leaders and board committees.
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor by promoting prudent financial management practices throughout the organization

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive professional accounting and finance experience.
- Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or similarly complex organizations is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial management systems.
