To support this, we are looking for a Control System Technical Specialist who can bridge the gap between technical engineering knowledge and customer-focused solution development. In this role, you will work as part of our sales team and closely with customers to translate complex industrial challenges into practical automation solutions that deliver measurable value.

What impact you will make

In this role, you will help customers unlock the full potential of Yokogawa technologies by aligning technical capabilities with real operational needs.

You will:

• Support the sales team during customer engagements by providing technical expertise and solution guidance of Yokogawa control systems
• Translate customer operational challenges into automation and digital solutions
• Present and demonstrate Yokogawa’s industrial automation technologies and applications to customers and partners
• Contribute to the development of technical proposals, solution concepts and complex commercial proposals.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales process

How you will collaborate

This role sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, and customer operations.

You will collaborate closely with:

• Sales and account managers to support customer development and solution positioning
• Engineering and project teams to ensure technical feasibility and solution quality
• Service and support teams to ensure long-term customer success
• Customers and partners to understand operational challenges and deliver the right technical solutions

What we are looking for

We are looking for a professional who combines technical depth with strong communication and customer engagement skills.

Experience and background

• Degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical, Process Engineering or similar)
• Experience in industrial automation, process control, or digital industrial solutions
• Experience supporting technical sales, application engineering, or solution consulting
• Understanding of industrial processes (energy, chemicals, manufacturing, oil & gas or similar industries)

• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear business value
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset and curiosity about customer challenges
• Collaborative approach when working with cross-functional teams
