Control Engineer Applications

GEA Heating & Refrigeration Technologies division specializes in industrial cooling, heating, and sustainable technical solutions for the food, beverage, dairy, and oil & gas industries. For our Heating and Refrigeration Excellence team in 's-Hertogenbosch, we are looking for a Control Engineer Applications.

Responsibilities / Tasks

The Control Engineer Applications expands the application of GEA Omni controls in heat pumps and other systems.

Your tasks:

• Quotation: Prepare costing & quotation for GEA Omni system panels.

• Automation: Create the GEA Omni configuration, including custom logic and (customer) interface. Perform the Software test and create documentation.

• Commissioning Support: support the startup of heating & refrigeration systems related to the GEA Omni controls.

• Standardization: Develop and promote standardized control solutions for hardware, software as used in project execution.

• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Ensure global teams are trained and knowledge is transferred for continuous improvement.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Technical proficiency: Industrial refrigeration, programming, Scada/BMS systems, and e-plan.

• Software Skills: Microsoft Office and software design methodologies.

• Language: Fluent in English; Dutch or German is a plus.

• Soft Skills: Communication, creativity, and independent work ethic.

• Travel: Flexibility for occasional short-term travel.

Other skills

• Good collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Can "work self-employed" on solutions.
