SALARY: $104,800 - $124,450, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:
Like making a big impact in your role? Like influencing the direction of projects during project conception, scoping, and final design? Being the In-House Electrical Design team engineer will allow you to make a big impact for the zone by leading future growth. The most critical projects start with having quality engineering complete before back-end execution. This team is full of highly experienced technical experts doing what they love to do and we need a strong controls engineer as dedicated as they are. Additionally, you can expect to:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical owner of Anheuser-Busch’s electrical technical specifications with responsibilities to revise to current industry standards, advise specifications within on-going projects.
Thorough understanding of controls design standards and all applicable codes
Actively participate in front end project discussions to develop design strategy for the controls portion of the project
Execute detailed controls designs using Anheuser-Busch standards for assigned projects with ability to push projects from conceptual to final design.
Analyze existing electrical equipment impacted by assigned projects.
Develop construction documents including Scope of Work, design drawings, and appropriate technical specifications for assigned projects.
Develop request for proposal (RFP) and scoping documents for assigned projects and provide technical review during bid proposal shakeouts.
Provide Project Management support to assist in schedule development, overall execution strategy, and construction sequencing.
Provide estimating team support for updating electrical and instrumentation pricing and develop estimating assemblies for electrical project components.
Resolve third party engineering technical questions and review third party engineering work.
Review and approve project shop drawings.
Drive project costs down through value engineering, new technology and cost management.
Establish new and maintain updated engineering and construction standards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline (Electrical or equivalent technical degree)
5 or more years’ experience in controls engineering - preferred
Industrial controls design experience
PLC systems/Network design and implementation
480VAC power distribution and systems design and implementation
PLC programing, with knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens preferred
HMI programing, with knowledge of WinCC, FTview, iFix, SCADA
Familiarity with brewing process instrumentation and packaging line designs preferred
Knowledge and familiarity with P&IDs
Ability to engineer and design single lines, electrical schematics, and network diagrams
Excellent interpersonal and technical problem-solving skills
Ability to work and communicate within team of multi-discipline engineers and designers
Project management and/or construction management experience is preferred.
Professional Engineer License preferred
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Intermittent Travel, 30% periodically
