We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the full client contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and compliance. In this role, you will ensure client contracts align with business objectives, minimizing risk and strengthening client relationships. • Draft, review, and negotiate client agreements, including licensing, service agreements, renewals and evaluations.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure client contracts reflect company policies and mitigate risk.
• Identify and address legal or regulatory risks in fintech SaaS agreements, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and liability clauses.
• Assist with client DDQs and regulatory inquiries.
• Maintain a repository of standard contracts and templates.
• Advise management on contract interpretation, negotiation strategies, and risk management.
• Partner with Sales on client deal structuring, redlining, and negotiations to close agreements efficiently.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on complex or unusual contract matters.
• Lead AI adoption and policy development to enhance client contract management while ensuring compliance and ethical standards.

Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience in corporate, commercial, or technology contracts.
• Strong understanding of client-side commercial contract negotiation and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in creating and maintaining contract templates and order forms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and make sound decisions.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with proven accuracy in execution.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in SaaS, fintech, or technology sectors.
• Familiarity with data privacy laws and fintech regulations.
• Proven ability to collaborate across business and legal functions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the US – no exceptions.

• Salary Range: $140k - $170k / year
• Other Compensation: Additional compensation includes annual discretionary bonus
