The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of subcontractors for construction, engineering, and other specialized services, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, compliance, and high-quality performance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Subcontractor Sourcing & Selection: Identify, evaluate, and onboard subcontractors for various projects, ensuring the selection of the best-fit partners based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with subcontractors, ensuring competitive and cost-effective agreements are reached while maintaining compliance with company policies.
  • Risk Management: Assess risks associated with subcontractor performance, compliance, and safety. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure subcontractors adhere to regulatory standards and company requirements.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with subcontractors, managing performance and resolving any issues that arise during project execution.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards. Maintain thorough records of subcontractor contracts, documentation, and performance reviews.
  • Cost Management: Oversee budgeting for subcontractor procurement, monitor cost control processes, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement activities, including subcontractor performance, cost savings, and potential risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, operations teams, and other departments to ensure seamless procurement and execution of subcontracted services.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in subcontractor procurement or construction procurement, with a proven track record in sourcing and managing subcontractors.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with construction and safety standards, as well as regulatory requirements, is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working with construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
