Are you passionate about data and gaming? Bungie is searching for a dedicated and creative Senior Analyst to join our team and help guide the next exciting phase of Destiny 2 development through analytics, insights, and business intelligence.
As a Senior Analyst, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Data Engineers to delve into complex data sets, generating and conveying actionable insights that drive key design and business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and statistical skills, excellent SQL proficiency, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your insights will directly contribute to enhancing player engagement and enjoyment, turning data into action in one of the most thrilling games in the industry!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inform PM, Design, and Strategic Leadership decisions via ad-hoc analysis, interactive dashboard creation, and evaluation of live operations performance.
- Design repeatable measurement frameworks to evaluate game systems over time and inform updates for future releases.
- Develop models for predicting and segmenting player behavior.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure data quality in reports and dashboards.
- Deliver independently driven analytical insights with a focus on actions to be taken.
- Quantify opportunities for new initiatives and present findings to stakeholders.
- Communicate analytical insights and data findings through clear and accessible visualizations.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience in Business Analytics or Data Science.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience in creating clear data visualizations for different audiences.
- Ability to effectively communicate highly technical insights to a non-technical audience.
- Knowledge of basic statistics (summary statistics, distribution analysis, and significance testing).
- Intellectual curiosity and analytical rigor.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Passion for collaborating with stakeholders and working in a team environment.
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- A love of games (Bonus points for action- MMO titles like Destiny 2, especially Destiny 2).
- Experience with Tableau for dashboard and data visualization.
- Coding/scripting experience in Python or R.
- Familiarity with statistical techniques relevant to large data analysis.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, enterprise-scale live operations environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, math, statistics, engineering, computer science, or related field. Graduate training is a plus.
Listed below is this role's base pay range within the greater Seattle area. In other locations approved for remote work by Bungie and our external resource vendors, this pay range may be adjusted to the local market and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly),
This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Bellevue Pay Range
$113,000—$140,000 USD
