The Contract Recruiting Specialist is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and selecting top talent to meet the organization's hiring needs. This role partners closely with hiring leaders to identify qualified candidates through creative sourcing strategies, conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and facilitate the selection process. The Contract Recruiting Specialist also coordinates interview schedules, manages internal placements, and processes new hire documentation while ensuring compliance with all applicable employment policies, laws, and regulations. This position thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment and is focused on delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
  • Conduct phone screens and initial candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and overall fit.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate the interview process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates by providing timely communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple requisitions while ensuring an efficient and positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, recruitment strategies, and hiring priorities.
  • Meet recruiting metrics and hiring goals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Process new hire paperwork and maintain compliance with all employment policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Coordinate internal transfers and other talent movement activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of high-volume, hourly recruiting experience required.
  • Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or candidate sourcing.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple openings and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn preferred.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.



Skills Required

  • High-volume hourly recruiting experience
  • Must live in one of the specified states (CA, CO, FL, ID, IL, IA, KS, MA, MI, MN, NC, ND, OH, OR, SD, TN, TX, WA, WI)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
  • Previous recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition experience
