This seasonal, contract position is a field role, attending onsite open enrollment and benefit fair meetings at client locations. May have to give a presentation on benefits, or be available to answer individual questions. Provides follow up information electronically to appropriate Delta Dental personnel. This role is ideally suited for individuals with the flexibility to adjust their schedules based on seasonal needs. Candidates must be available from 8 AM to 5 PM in their local time zone, Monday through Friday. Your commitment to maintaining presence during these standard daytime hours and the ability to adapt to shifting workloads, particularly during our peak periods, is essential. Please note, that benefits are not available for this role as it is a seasonal contract position; benefits are exclusively available for permanent positions at Delta Dental.
This role requires at least two or more years experience in one or more of the following: medical/dental insurance account management, benefits administration in Human Resources, serving as a medical/dental carrier, representative, or an insurance broker.

Responsibilities- In a group setting or one-on one, compares and contrasts dental plans in order to assist customers with determining the best plan to meet their needs.
- In some cases, may be required to guide customers into making a decision when Delta Dental is offered on a voluntary basis.
- Provides customers with printed plan information and answers any questions about the plans offered.
- Will refer members to customer service for any issues that can’t be answered on site.
- Applicants are required to have at least two or more years experience in one or more of the following: medical/dental insurance account management, benefits administration in Human Resources, serving as a medical/dental carrier, representative, or an insurance broker.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Requires an insurance license for residents of FL and KY.
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Proof of automobile insurance with minimum liability limits required by the state the employee lives in.
- Knowledge of dental plans and basic health insurance terminology.
- Knowledge of other language(s) preferred.
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $30.00/ hour
