Job Purpose:
This role that is responsible for driving the execution of manufacturing talent acquisition for Kyowa Kirin North America. This position works closely with HR and the businesses management/leadership on candidate sourcing strategy, digital recruiting, development of recruitment channels, understanding market conditions and executing the hiring of highly effective talent for Kyowa Kirin North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting for all levels of manufacturing in Sanford, NC. This including working with hiring managers to gain a full understanding of recruiting needs by assessing those needs and identifying critical skills necessary for success in the role as well as ability to work effectively within our company culture.
  • Implementing sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of available candidates in anticipating hiring needs
  • Prescreening candidates and presenting to hiring managers
  • Partnering with hiring managers and run hiring process debriefs
  • Managing our current applicant tracking system to manage applicant flow through the hiring process and to effectively manage candidate communications
  • Negotiating offers with candidates, explaining the value of each package thoroughly
  • Serving as an influential, consultative voice on hiring decisions
  • Utilizes the analytics of the Talent Acquisition function to make decisions based on facts and data.
  • This role will be responsible for exempt and non-exempt recruitment execution

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 year’s of experience in corporate Talent Acquisition environment.
  • Experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical manufacturing is required.
  • Strong experience in developing digital recruiting strategies is required
  • Strong management skills including the ability to effectively consult, negotiate, resolve conflict and influence change
  • Strong data analytical skills and experience using data strategically to manage the function
  • Have a good understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to the Talent Acquisition function
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possess a strong level of discretion and integrity to manage confidential information
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and change course of action quickly
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) – Greenhouse preferred
  • Detail oriented and excellent follow through
  • Ability to balance work independently with minimal supervision and be able to respond effectively to competing priorities
  • The ability to flex and deal with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced, high growth environment

 Physical Requirements:

  • This position requires candidates to be able to work in Sanford, North Carolina 5 days a week.
