Your Journey Ahead
- Project management: Manage all aspects of localisation projects, from resource allocation, check/send/receive projects, to timeline management. Collaborate with Design, Product, Engineering and Legal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of localised content.
- Quality assurance: Enforce quality standards for localised content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance across all languages. Collaborate with subject matter experts from the local on-site teams to validate translation.
- Technology adoption: Leverage tools and technologies, such as computer-assisted translation tools and AI, to further streamline processes, increase efficiency, and achieve cost sustainability. Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve workflows.
- Reporting and analytics: Collect data and prepare reports on localisation performance, project statuses and costs to enable decisions on process and expenditure optimisation.
- Vendor management: Negotiating contracts, create project briefs, coordinate workflows, and conduct performance reviews. Foster strong relationships to optimise project outcomes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Advocacy and representation: Advocate for localisation in all aspects of our business and to show that they’re essential to extending our reach and improving the customer experience.
Essentials to Succeed
- 3+ years experience in translation, localisation and/or project managing-related roles.
- Experience managing content, translation or other service vendors.
- A clear understanding of localisation processes, quality assurance practice and the e-commerce, reward and/or fintech industries.
- Demonstrated ability to work in diverse cross-functional product teams developing website and mobile app products.
- Experience using computer-assisted translation tools (CAT) and translation management systems (TMS).
- Have basic knowledge of using AI supporting localisation.
- Strong work ethic and effective collaborative teamwork.
- Advanced proficiency in English, with additional language skills considered a plus.
- Project management certification is a plus.
