EcoCeres is looking for a detail-oriented and driven individual to join us in supporting our commodity trading operations. The role focuses on contract drafting, negotiation, internal process management, and documentation control, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency across transactions.
Responsibilities
- Contract Management
Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with business requirements and risk considerations
- Contract Lifecycle & Documentation Control
Oversee end-to-end contract lifecycle and maintain structured, audit-ready documentation
- Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as a key interface across Commercial, Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure smooth execution
- Operational Documentation Support
Ensure accuracy and consistency of documentation supporting business operations
- Sustainability & Compliance
Support sustainability documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. ISCC / PoS)
- Process Improvement
Strengthen SOPs and enhance workflows to improve efficiency and governance
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in energy, commodity trading, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of contract structures, Incoterms, and documentation process.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end contract lifecycle and supporting documentation
- Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with contract systems is an advantage
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (e.g. ISCC / PoS) is a plus

Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a commodity trading, oil, biofuels, or energy company
- Strong knowledge of contract structures, General Terms and Conditions, Incoterms, and trade documentation
- Experience handling full contract lifecycle and operational documentation
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and filing discipline
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise under tight timelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with contract management systems
- Familiarity with biofuels sustainability frameworks (e.g., ISCC, PoS, GHG calculations)
- Strong analytical and risk awareness mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Process-driven with continuous improvement mindset
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
