Nectar is seeking contract copyeditors to review, refine, and ensure accuracy and clarity of written content. This role requires a strong command of language, grammar, and style, as well as the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Review and Editing:

• Edit and proofread online learning content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax.

• Ensure consistency in style, tone, and voice across all materials.

2. Style and Formatting:

• Apply and maintain the use of established style guides (e.g., AP, MLA, Chicago Manual of Style) or adapt to specific organizational standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a copyeditor, proofreader, or similar role.

• Exceptional attention to detail and mastery of grammar, punctuation, and style.

• Proficiency in editing tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Adobe Acrobat).

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
