Fixpoint is hiring Commercial Pilots for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Commercial Pilots.
You're a good fit if you have experience with:
- Check aircraft prior to flights to ensure that the engines, controls, instruments, and other systems are functioning properly.
- Co-pilot aircraft or perform captain's duties, as required.
- Consider airport altitudes, outside temperatures, plane weights, and wind speeds and directions to calculate the speed needed to become airborne.
- Use instrumentation to pilot aircraft when visibility is poor.
- Monitor engine operation, fuel consumption, and functioning of aircraft systems during flights. and developing smart contracts using Solidity, Rust, or Vyper
or have similar experience.
RequirementsMust-have qualifications
- Have 5+ years full-time work experience in Transportation and Warehousing.
- Native-level English skills
- U.S. residency
- Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet.
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule).
