Job Description

At Computer Network Systems, we believe in empowering our clients and stakeholders by evoking their rights and responsibilities through concise contracts. In order to seamlessly negotiate and execute contracts, we are seeking a highly skilled and certified contract Administrator. The candidate must be hands-on in every stage of the contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to implementation and renewal. Our company firmly believes in operating within the regulations set by the government and the board of directors, so the contract Administrator in question must be knowledgeable regarding the laws and regulations surrounding each particular contract. By helping both parties meet the contractual obligations and stipulations, the ideal contract Administrator must look at the contract lifecycle from a holistic point of view, with accuracy, objectivity and integrity.

The Contracts Administrator (CM) will manage and provide a full range of pre-award, post-award and corporate contract administration services that will enable contract obligations to stakeholders and compliance to all applicable regulatory laws. The CM will guide the company’s understanding and keep the company abreast of client rules and regulations in order to support compliance. This position will report to the Head of Procurement & Contracts.
 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft, monitor and review contracts across various verticals and scales.
  • Provide essential contract management services, by resolving conflicts, providing legal advice and renewing and redrafting contracts.
  • Perform periodic reviews of the contracts in place and provide resolution services whenever a situation arises.
  • Educate the stakeholders about their rights and responsibilities as per the conditions laid in the contract.
  • Establish a contract management system to regulate contract workflow.
  • Supervise the performance of the contract and work towards compliance with the terms and conditions mentioned in it.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the status of the contracts. 
  • Manages contract administration and compliance for all assigned projects.
  • Distributes contract-related information and ensures the maintenance of contract files for assigned projects.
  • Assists with the analysis and interpretation of contracts and advises on the negotiation of contracts with stakeholders when draft awards are received.
  • Participates in project “kick-off” meetings, including delivering detailed briefings to the project and accounting teams as related to administration of the contract following the award.
  • Assists with the Identification of any contractual or regulatory issues in RFPs that may impact potential new business opportunity, review cost proposals and ensure organizational and regulatory compliance.
  • Participates in contract close-out efforts and escalates to the Head of Procurement & Contracts as needed.
  • Drafts and negotiates subcontracts and modifications in consultation with the Head of Procurement & Contracts.
  • Assists project teams in the preparation of subcontract solicitation documents and assists in management of the solicitation process as needed.
  • Develops, negotiates, and modifies subcontracts, which includes conducting a risk analysis to determine any special conditions.
  • Performs integrity checks for subcontract budgets for increase or decrease in scope of work and internal purpose and/or end of project pipeline budget.
  • Draft and review teaming agreements with subs or primes.
  • Develop templates for capture/proposal consultant agreements.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with vendors as needed.
  • Contributes to and reviews complex cost proposals to ensure that the bid is compliant with the solicitation and company’s policies.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, International Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in contract management and/or business proposal pricing preparation.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Comprehensive experience in contract administration, including award negotiations, subcontractor management, procurement, and performance auditing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other essential computer applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, work independently, assess priorities, and manage multiple activities under tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of contract management systems or software.
  • Familiarity with Oracle CRM, SAP ERP, Microsoft ERP, or similar platforms.

Additional Information

Compliance with policies and procedures based on the ISO standards adopted by CNS.

Skills Required
