ABOUT THE ROLE
Appnovation is seeking a talented Developer with experience in Contentful or other headless CMS to join our highly motivated and experienced team. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative projects that span our offices across the globe, collaborating within our agile cross-functional teams to develop their skills and gain valuable experience in CMS implementations.
THE ESSENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Up to 2 years of experience in software engineering, web, or mobile development—including internships, personal projects, or coursework.
- Familiarity with React and Next.js gained through projects, coursework, or self-study.
- Basic understanding or experience with Contentful or other headless CMS platforms.
- Exposure to UI component development tools like Storybook.
- Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design and familiarity with CSS frameworks or preprocessors like SCSS, SASS, or LESS.
- Experience or coursework involving consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile principles and methodologies, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems like GIT and collaborative workflows.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Familiarity with headless CMSs like Contentful.
- Basic experience with third-party UI libraries (e.g. TailwindCSS, Chakra UI, Shadcn).
- Familiarity with Storybook or other UI component development tools.
- Basic understanding of Node.js or a willingness to learn.
- Interest in learning about GraphQL.
- Good understanding of web accessibility principles.
- Familiarity with CMS development.
- Experience with building web components.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and familiarity with TypeScript.
