GoodRx is seeking a video editor to join the video production team and create engaging health video content. The ideal candidate will have a proven experience and interest in editing with motion graphics, animation and/or footage, and be able to produce engaging and emotive content with both technical ability and creative flair. You will be expected to collaborate with a team of editors, animators and producers sharing your understanding of the post-production process. This individual will be skilled in all aspects of post-production and recognize best practises, while upholding consistency across projects. The role will work on a variety of content types and formats, including medical expert interviews and documentary-style mini series about people living with chronic health conditions. This person will be expected to edit multiple short videos a week, so working efficiently and quickly is essential. In this role you will need to be comfortable working under pressure and be extremely organized in delivering high-quality video content.
Responsibilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with other editors, producers and writers, as well as independently
- Creative ability to find ways to elevate content through multimedia formats.
- Incorporate motion graphics and style templates for new and existing formats.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot and shift gears quickly as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and anticipate needs.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience working in video editing; publishing/editorial environment preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premier and After Effects Experience in DaVinci is a plus
- A strong understanding of editing workflows and file structuring especially in Premiere
- Quick technical editing skills
- Advanced animation and motion GFX design skills
- Has a keen eye towards color correction and image quality
- Maintain quality control to assure that all work meets the highest possible standards
- Experience working in a digital server environment workflow.
