Our Online team is growing and we are looking for exceptional UX talent!
The UX Writer will help build and manage the Online user experience by up-leveling our writing, bringing new ideas to the team, and building out engaging experiences. We're looking for a resourceful team member with a wealth of experience and a willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. This person will be responsible for UX writing and maintenance of Zoom's terminology dictionary. It is critical that this person is a team player and comfortable working cross-functionally to deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and give constructive feedback in early Product grooming and UX design sessions, then drive the writing process through iteration, stakeholder/partner approval, and handoff to localization
- Build partnerships with the design, brand, and product teams to develop effective and engaging copy for all Online interfaces
- Be able to juggle multiple content experiences across desktop and mobile and across timezones, making organization a key factor
- Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for the user experience.
- Maintain terminology consistency across the board and our internal documentation for standards
- Social skills are vital, as you will routinely collaborate with engineers, designers, and product owners representing a wide variety of locations and cultural backgrounds
Requirements
- Four-year related degree and 3+ years experience in copywriting and user experience
- 3+ years experience in UX Writing with a strong preference for experience in eCommerce or marketplace products that target consumers or SMBs
- Fluent with visual design tools e.g. Figma, Axure, LucidChart, Balsamiq
- Take a data-driven approach to UI/UX design and know how to use data to inform copy and A/B testing
- Are extremely collaborative and like working with cross-functional teams
- Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Must be a team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. Must be passionate, independent, and have strong organizational skills.
