A Little About the Role
The technical writing team is responsible for the content within our interactive experiences, help centers, learning centers, system-generated emails, and API documentation. As a writer on the team, you'll be involved in nearly every aspect of the product development process and will be responsible for writing and editing world-class content that helps our users to reach their goals. You will collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Sales team members to bring innovative, well-crafted experiences to life.
• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation that results in engaging online help designed to drive learning and feature adoption. Collaborate with SMEs across various teams to gain expert-level knowledge on our software, technology, and APIs. Leverage this knowledge to generate online help meant for both external and internal audiences. Work closely with various internal teams to understand technical concepts and new features.
• Provide usability feedback on new and existing product offerings.
• Work collaboratively with product managers and developers to obtain an in-depth understanding of product deliverables.
• Plan, develop and organize external and internal help center documentation, in-app messaging (UI text, tooltips, and notifications), demo scripts, and newsletters.
• Manage a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
• Analyze existing and potential content to maintain continuity of style and focus on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.

• Ability to quickly grasp complex technologies and explain them in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work with an informal cross-organizational team in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to continuous learning and a desire to help others.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
Even better if you have...
• Enterprise-wide complex workflow documentation experience
• B2B or Advertising software experience
• Intermediate experience authoring user interface and API documentation
• Ability to work in a command-line environment
• Strong proficiency with HTML code or reStructuredText and web authoring software
• Experience with MadCap Flare authoring tool

  • Experience with context sensitive help
